On September 19, Cheran took to Twitter to celebrate 12 years of the film's release.
He shared one of his fans tweet and recollected the memories associated with the film. He also said that the credit goes to director KPJagan for giving them a film to remember. Raman Thediya Seethai (lit. 'The Seethai that Raman sought') is a 1972 Indian Tamil-language film, directed by P. Neelakantan, starring M. G. Ramachandran in the lead role, with Jayalalithaa, S. A. Ashokan, and others. The movie is a remake of 1969 Kannada movie Gandondu Hennaru starring Rajkumar.

S. J. Raman (MGR), a rich industrialist tries to find his soul mate. His future ideal wife has to possess absolutely 6 virtues, which a nice old couple revealed him in the bend of a way. Raman already knows the one who could fill his heart, make it happy. Her name is Seetha (Jayalalithaa), a charming representative in cosmetics. But regrettably, during the preparations of their marriage, outer elements apparently annoyed by this union, make everything prevent that it occur. Provided with his invaluable notebook containing 6 criteria, the odyssey of Raman is only beginning...

For the entitled book, The Living Pictures, Perspectives one The Film Poster in India, published in 2005 by David Blamey and Robert D'Souza, the authors chose in coverage, the famous pose of MGR-Jayalalithaa in the middle of flowers, from the song 'Thiruvalar Selviye...'.
This beautiful image is again used for a French–Australian-Hindi animated television show, Sally Bollywood dating 2008, in particular for the first season in numerous episodes.
